World No Tobacco Day is observed globally on 31st May every year. Initiated by the World Health Organization (WHO), this day aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco on health, the environment, and the economy. It serves as a platform to encourage individuals, communities, and governments to take collective action towards reducing tobacco use and promoting a tobacco-free society.
