MyGov and the Department of Posts, along with the Ministry of External Affairs, United Nations Political Division, invite students of classes 9 to 12 and students from Art Colleges from across India to design a postage stamp on United Nations@80. Schools affiliated to CBSE, including Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas, as well as schools affiliated to all State Boards, and universities, can participate in the Campaign and submit the best 5 postage stamp designs by the students on the MyGov portal.

As a steadfast supporter of multilateralism, India’s leadership has enabled comprehensive and equitable solutions to global challenges, including those related to sustainable development, disaster risk reduction, poverty eradication, climate change, peacekeeping, anti-terrorism, anti-racism, disarmament and human rights.

The United Nations marks its 80th year in 2025. As a founding member of the UN, India has played an important role in shaping the organisation’s mission, from peacekeeping and humanitarian assistance to championing the rights of developing countries. India’s contributions reflect its deep commitment to multilateralism and the belief that global challenges must be tackled together. This milestone offers an opportunity to celebrate the values and vision that bind India and the UN in their pursuit of a more just and peaceful world.

The winner will be awarded a certificate by the Ministry of External Affairs. The selected art will be issued as a postage stamp on the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations. Goodies will be awarded to the top 10 selections by the Department of Posts.
There is no entry fee to participate in the contest.
Participation will be at the institution level (school, college & university) and not on the individual level.
Schools affiliated to CBSE, including Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas, schools affiliated to all State Boards as well as Art Colleges can participate in the Campaign.
Nodal officers of respective institutions can submit the entries of students belonging to Class IX to Class XII, and students from Art Colleges can participate.
If an institution is participating in the activity first time, it needs to fill in the required details for participation on MyGov. By submitting the details and participating in the challenge, the participating institution can be contacted if selected.
All the participating institutions must ensure that their MyGov profile is accurate and updated, since this profile shall be used for further communication. This includes details such as the institution name, name of nodal officer, e-mail, mobile number, etc.
Submissions beyond the last date and time of submission shall not be considered.
The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
Students should draw their ideas on “ UN@80 and India's leadership in building our future through multilateralism, global leadership and stewardship” through crayons/ pencil colors/ water colors/ acrylic colors on art sheets (A4 Size, 200 GSM, White Color).
Schools to conduct a screening of all the entries in order to shortlist a maximum of 05 designs on “ UN@80 and India's leadership in building our future through multilateralism, global leadership and stewardship" with the best ideas. These 05 designs on the topic shall be scanned and uploaded on the MyGov Portal. It is also pertinent to mention that the institutions participating in the stamp design competition must upload all five (05) entries in one go, because, as per the MyGov Portal design, there will be only one opportunity for each institution to upload the entries.
The uploaded entries from each school should be forwarded to the Office of the Chief Postmaster General of the concerned Circle after the conclusion of the competition, for further evaluation at the Circle level.
The Department of Posts has the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/Evaluation Criteria.
All submissions would be vetted by Committees/Experts to ensure high educational standards and appropriateness.
Any changes to the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/posted on the MyGov InnovateIndia platform. It would be the responsibility of the participating institution to keep itself informed about any changes in the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria stated for this contest.
There will be no notification to participants of entries who are not selected as winners.
The content should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act of 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyrights would be disqualified from the competition. The Government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participating institution.
The decision of the Selection Committee would be final and binding on all the contestants, and no clarifications would be issued to any participant/participating institution on any decision of the Selection Committee.
Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organiser’s reasonable control. Proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
The organisers reserve the right to disqualify participants/participating institutions, refuse/discard entries if the information submitted is plagiarised, false or erroneous.
By submitting, participants grant DoP an exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license over the submitted entry. Winning entries (including runner-ups) will become the property of DoP. Participants must ensure that no third-party rights are violated.
By participating in the activity, the participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the activity, including any amendments or further updates.
The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
